Hi, I’m Karen Dougherty and I’m a realtor with EXP Realty in the West Chester, PA office.
There are so many things I love about my job, but if I had to choose one
thing, it would be the people.  I get to
meet so many people on a daily basis and I love hearing their stories, where
they came from, and why they want to move.
I get great satisfaction knowing that I was able to help them get from
where they are to where they want to be.

Specializing in all things real estate, I work with seniors
looking to downsize, first-time buyers, buyers looking for the perfect single-family
home, the luxury market, as well as, investments.  As property investor myself, I am extremely
well-equipped to advise buyers interested in homes to flip, retain as rentals,
or live in themselves.  I have also
comprehensively complimented my personal service with an outstanding team of
professionals, providing you with the capability to successfully managing all
aspects of your transaction.  These
service providers include, mortgage lenders, title companies, home-stagers,
photographers, inspectors, flooring specialists, and many more.

One of the things I enjoy most about my job is that there is
never a dull moment.  As a long-time resident
of Chester County, living in West Chester for more than 30 years, I am
well-connected and actively involved in our community.  Things are always changing in real estate,
whether it’s the industry in general, buyers markets, sellers markets, technology,
the interest rates, there’s always a lot of change and my clients need an agent
they can depend on and who knows how to adapt to guide them through the
process, through the challenges, and come out successfully on the other end.

Before going in to real estate, I spent 22 years in the
pharmaceutical industry working in a very small cubical, and if you know me,
you know that I do not belong in a small cubical.  In 2013, I made one of the best decisions of
my life, beginning a career in real estate, becoming a licensed Pennsylvania Realtor
®.  I am a people person, and working in
real estate allows me to be out working and communicating with people every
day.  During my time in pharmaceutical, I
earned two degrees from Immaculata University, one in finance management and the
other in organizational dynamics which have proven to be huge assets to my
clients and my career in real estate.

years running, in 2018 and 2019, I received my company’s Leading Edge Society
Award for Outstanding Performance.  Regardless
